To put on the outermost edge of the gutter, after which the cord of the light chain can be put in the small hook.

19x12mm fits gutters where the outermost edge of the gutter is 19mm and the wire on the light chain is no thicker than 10mm.

19x6mm fits gutters where the outermost edge of the gutter is 19mm and the wire on the light chain is no thicker than 5mm.
